Sponsoring a child through OKWAGALA For Children is a simple act of love. Your gift – any amount – helps a child in Uganda stay in school, eat daily meals, and feel God’s love. We are a young foundation, just getting started. Every shilling is tracked and accounted for.
We receive your donation into our Uganda bank account, then send it directly to the child’s school or family. You will receive a simple report so you know how your gift was used. No middlemen, no hidden fees.
“My child now has a uniform and books. She smiles again. I am so grateful to my sponsor.” – Margaret, mother in Kampala
Your support keeps a child in school. It gives hope. It shows that someone far away cares.
How we use your gift
Your donation goes into our account, then we pay the school directly. We keep simple records. At the end of the year, you receive a note showing where the money went – school fees, meals, uniform, or supplies.
- Your gift is deposited into OKWAGALA’s Uganda account
- We pay the child’s school or buy supplies locally
- You receive a letter and a photo from the child
- You can give a one‑time gift or start a small fundraiser
OKWAGALA For Children began in 2024. We are still small, still growing. We are not yet registered, but we are working on it. Every sponsor is part of our family. If you wish to visit your sponsored child, let us know – we will do our best to arrange it.
